The 2020 Louisville Slugger Prime USA youth bat comes with the usual bells and whistles as previous years yet features a newly designed balanced swing weight making line drives and level swings easier to achieve. The huge 2 5/8” barrel comes filled with Microform Composite Technology supplying a thicker and sturdier sweet spot region. The Prime comes in a 3-piece fully composite construction being held together by Louisville’s patented VCX connection. VCX will securely sync together the composite handle and barrel for supreme vibration control and unfiltered energy movements up and down the baseball bat. Like last season, this year’s Prime will feature the RTX End Cap and LS Pro Comfort Grip. These two elements will improve weight distribution, sweet spot effectiveness, and overall comfort for any youth player swinging it.
