2017 DEMARINI VOODOO youth bat

SUMMARY: The 2017 edition of the Demarini Voodoo youth bat more than stacks up against older Voodoo models from the past and also includes one significant upgrade. Instead of featuring the Voodoo’s typical end loaded barrel design, the 2017 edition comes with a low pro end cap which provides a more balanced swing weight.  Demarini restructured the Voodoo specifically to accommodate the large majority of youth hitters who prefer a balance transfer of weight through the strike zone. This bat also bears a fully upgraded X14 alloy barrel that provides an added wall of thickness for enhanced pop. Like most Demarini bats, the 2017 Voodoo features Demarni’s D-Fusion 2.0 Handle composite technology which channels any irritating shock vibrations back into the barrel while distributing additional pop on the baseball.      

OUR REVIEW: Overall, the 2017 Voodoo received positive reactions from both our pool of hitters and team members. The revamped X14 alloy barrel constituted solid contact spraying baseballs throughout the outfield while allowing our players to maintain a fluid and balance swing across the plate. The feedback generated from our hitter’s Scorecards reported little shock vibrations and generated high scores in the category of Grip & Comfort. The 2017 Demarini Voodoo is a great bat for players that gravitate towards utilizing aluminum baseball bats while still aiming to inflict maximum pop.
